You could be bruxing: Some people, esp those under stress, grind their teeth at night. In addition, biting your cheeks and tongue could be due to a slight misalignment of your teeth that can be sometimes remidied by some adjustments. I suggest you consider a mouth appliance that you wear at night that prevents you from grinding. See your dentist to have one of these appliances made for you. You need your sleep.

Clenching : Stress has been known to cause patient to grind or clench their teeth at night. Use of a bite guard, fabricated by a dentist, can prevent harmful forces and soft tissue biting caused by parafunctional (grinding, clenching) habits.
