Are repeated boil breakouts a serious health concern?

Usually not: While annoying and uncomfortable, at worst these may cause scarring and may occasionally have to be surgically drained. Rarely they reflect a more serious underlying problem, so consult your doctor if this is a new and/or worsening problem. Meanwhile, if you are inclined to take showers, regular soaking baths might do wonders for you.

Maybe see your MD: Boils are infections of the skin and they will typically resolve on their own. Repeated boil breakouts can be associated with a weakened immune system due to an underlying disease or with medications that weaken the immune system so see your md to get diagnosed as to the cause of your breakouts.
