Stretch marks: Stretch marks are a form of scarring that occurs in the dermis. They can sometimes be improved, at least in color, but these are permanent. The only thing I have ever seen that decreases the width of the stretch marks is after i perform liposuction on patients. While not intended for this purpose, skin contracture which occurs with healing often decreases the size and diminishes the appearance.
