Control: Night time symptoms of asthma usually indicates a need for better control. May be related to a need for change in controller inhaler. Also possible that bedroom contains higher amounts of "triggers" . There are possible links to the body's own steroid rhythm that may be at its lowest very early in the morning. Check with your physician and reevaluate your bedroom fro triggers.

See below: You may have post-nasal drip or gastric reflux; both of these disorders get worse when you lie down and exacerbate your asthma. Or, you may be allergic to something in your bedroom.
