There are a few conditions which may contribute to respiratory conditions. Sleep on your side, rather than on your back and treat any GERD symptoms. While supine, if you have sleep disrupted breathing, the tongue may obstruct more so in this position. Avoid caffeine, spicy foods and eating less than two hours prior to bedtime. Mattress covers and keeping your sleep environment clean rec.
