Need more info: When does it happen? How often? Does it happen with activities or exercise? Does it happen with eating? Need to see a doctor as there are many possibilities including rib injury, muscle pain, gallbladder, gastritis or stomach ulcer, liver conditions, etc.

Could be gallbladder: Gallbladder pain is typically under the right side of the rib cage and/or area right at the bottom of the breast bone, and radiates to the back. It usually occurs about 30-60 minutes after eating, and may last hours. See you doctor if it persists or gets worse.
