A member asked:

I am allergic to ibuprofen, can i take lortab.?

Yes but: Lortab is a narcotic and would not allow you to take that on more than a brief amount of time. Ibuprofen is not similar to lortab and thus would not predict allergy to it.

Lortab not an NSAID: Lortab contains Acetaminophen (tylenol) that is not an NSAID (aspirin like medication) and does not cross react with ibuprofen. However lortabs do contain hydrocodone, a narcotic, that is potentially addicting so should be used with great caution.
