I'm uneasy about it: Your doc did the correct thing, because the most common and treatable cause is infection. However, if no effect and cultures are negative in a few to sev days, i would look for different causes like a stone, cancer, or kidney inflammation. Need urinalysis and culture if not done. If no better, need a urologist care. If it was my problem, i'd go no where till I am clear of gross hematuria =bl/urine.
