Lichen planus: Is usually diagnosed visually by derm or a dentist, but in some cases a biopsy is taken, as the skin exam may show confirmatory findings as well, a derm is your best place to go in my opinion for confirmation and treatment.

White web: The presentation of lichen planus in the mouth is rather distinctive. In the buccal mucosa (inner aspect of the cheek) the classic presentation is a white web-like pattern.
