Tooth loss: Cavities left untreated can lead to nerve damage and root canal treatment or tooth loss if decayed below a restorable finish line. Loss of teeth alters mastication and can lead to stomach disorders and altered nutrition due to loss of ability to chew. It is most sensible to have routine cleanings and exams to catch decay in an early stage and preserve the teeth for good overall health.

Destruction : Cavities spread, flourish & multiply. 1 tooth, 1 surface cavity untreated. The cavity spreads which results in 2 surfaces of decay. Left untreated decay continues & becomes a 3 or 4 surface cavity. This process repeats itself tooth by tooth. When decay is too large, a crown is needed. Deep cavities also can lead to pain, root canals, root decay, extraction, periodontal & health issues.

Nothing but things s: Decay can cause pain, from mild to severe. Decay can cause infection, localized to systemic. Decay at worse can lead to hospitalization. A simple visit to your local professional would help you. Good luck and be well.

Loose your teeth: Too much decay makes it impossible to restore the tooth or teeth. The best alternative is to see a dentist immediately and fix what can be saved, have the unslvageable ones removed and replaced with implants or bridges or removable partials.
