Leg lifts.: The best exercises for our hips are either from yoga study; or simply lay on one side and raise your leg in the air; hold and pulse at the top for more focused movements.

Several: If you're asking which types of exercise strengthen the hip, skiing, skating, & dancing are three good ones for the whole hip. If you mean actual exercises, squats, lunges, bringing your legs together against resistance (adduction) and spreading them against resistance (abduction) work. Always warm up w/ walking or light running 1st, & remember to stretch after, especially your it band(google it).
