A member asked:

If my second opinion remains the same for the unknown solid septated mass on r ovary which option is best lupron (leuprolide) or surgery? questions i should ask?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovarian mass: A solid 7 cm mass of the ovary needs to be evaluated surgically. If you have already had a surgical diagnosis of endometriosis, and the mass looks like an endometrioma, then trying Lupron (leuprolide) could be an option. If the mass does not resolve surgery should be performed.
