Certainly: During the 1999 flu season we lost two pregnant moms in my town, one of which left a baby we took by C-section just before mom died. Sending that baby home with the grandmother was emotionally one of the hardest things I've ever done. We usually avoid the flu shot in the first trimester but give it thereafter. We also avoid the living nasal vaccine & use the inactivated shot.
