Yes: This issue has been studied in detail and found to be safe during pregnancy.Some ob'slike to wait until 12 wks out of extra caution, but there has been no problems with those who had it done earlier. On the flip side we do loose pregnant ladies to flu every year.

Yes: Per Mayo Clinic= "the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommend that all women who are pregnant during flu season get a flu shot, regardless of their trimester."
