Possibly: A vaporizor may help. Watch her cough closely. If she gets irritable and can't get comfortable, take her to the er.

Workup/Mgt: If her barky cough is caused by a virus, in most cases this will resolve within 10 days. If the symptoms persist or recur, I would suggest an imaging study and discussing with your physician. A cool mist vaporizer may help alleviate the cough. Babies breathe thru their noses, and using infant nasal saline drops may also help.
