Can you get to much radiation from xrays and mris

Yes/no: Overuse of x-rays is a problem but for the overwhelming majority of people, they do not get dangerous levels of radiation from x-rays. Cts are included in this since they use radiation too. Mris use no radiation at all. It is all magnetic.

Yes and no: Some types of x-rays give more radiation than others. In general, the highest dose come from Nuclear Medicine, Flouroscopy and CT. Plain x-rays give a small fraction of the radiation from the above. MRI doesn't use ionizing (bad) radiation. It is important to weigh the risks and benefits. see link below.
