Pelvic floor muscles: Used in sex & urinary control, can be weakened with age, childbirth or surgery. Kegels help to strengthen these muscles, stopping and starting urine midstream will help you identify the muscles you need to contract for these exercises. After you know what contract, do 8 to 12 exercises 3 times daily at least 4 times a week. A physical therapist may be necessary in difficult cases.
