Kegel exercises: Kegel exercises can increase pelvic floor strength, which is needed to support the uterus, bladder, small intestine, and rectum. The exercises can be done during pregnancy or after childbirth to try to prevent urinary incontinence. Along with counseling and sex therapy, they might also be helpful for women who have persistent difficulty reaching orgasm. They also help men control leaky bladders.
