A member asked:

Is the cow milk harmful for high cholestrol patients ?

Possibly: Cow's milk has different fat percentages. Whole milk has the most fat which could be reflected in cholesterol numbers. Harm is if you have too much of it or lack the fiber or other components that help to reduce high cholesterol. Many people are sensitive to cow's milk which is not necessary in the adult diet. It might be worth a trial without it.

Agree with Dr. R: Moderation. Milk in moderation is good for you. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/.
