The types of hpv that cause plantar warts are generally different from the types that cause genital warts. I think it's very unlikely that you'll give yourself genital warts.

Maybe not: Human papilloma viruses cause warts but the various types (called genotypes) tend to be tissue tropic, that is, they tend to cause warts in specific areas of the body. The genotypes that are associated with plantar warts are 1 and 4 while those that cause genital warts are 6 and 11. There can be some crossover but other foot put in the shoe is more likely to acquire the virus than a penis.
