A member asked:

How is a patient tested for fitness?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No test available: There is no specific test we use for testing fitness. There are exercise stress tests to evaluate if there are electrical signs of poor blood flow to the heart. We usually test patients by asking about their tolerance and ability for cardiovascular activity with any signs of shortness of breath or fatigue.
