D & C: Ovulation varies depending upon the length of your menstrual cycle. When you have a d & c for a miscarriage, ovulation usually occurs 2 to 4 weeks afterwards with the first period occurring 4 to 6 weeks later. If the d & c was a diagnostic procedure, before ovulation had occurred, then you would ovulate at the normal time in the menstrual cycle.

Yes: Yes, since there is no connection between ovulation and D&C in terms of one reacting to the other. It is true that incomplete growth due to lack of forming corpus leutium after ovulation could lead to an unstable endometrium due to inadequate hormone synthesis which causes lack of stablelization and abnormal bleeding.
