Sounds really young: The baby sounds really young, so should be evaluated now. If the parent is unable to reach the doctor, the baby can be evaluated in the E.R. Now. If the baby is having trouble catching his breath, is pulling in at the chest when trying to breath, is getting tired of breathing, is not pink anymore, or is feeling weak and limp, parents should call 911 for an ambulance to give oxygen to the baby.

Uncomfortable cough: If he has been seen x2 & not found to have a treatable process would imply that the process needs to run its course. A cough is uncomfortable & efforts to remove aggravating factors like fumes, dust, smoke, etc is helpful in affected infants.I have had infants that continued to cough until mom quit using pine o pine cleaner in their room. A fall off in oral feedings may require a recheck.
