Need source of pain: It is very important to identify the pain generator and perform conservative care (physical therapy, chiropractic care, etc). Only after failure of conservative measures and a accurate diagnosis and source of pain should someone have surgery.

See below.: Surgery on the cervical spine when patients mainly have neck pain in the absence of nerve compression or slippage of the vertebrae (spondylolisthesis) has mixed results. Migraines can have many causes and are often difficult to diagnose. I would recommend seeking the opinion of a neurologist. It may also be beneficial to obtain a second opinion from a spine specialist.
