A member asked:

I was wondering is it normal to get cramps in the first tirmester of pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Your uterus is stretching as the baby grows, and cramping is a normal response to this. However, if you are having cramping that is worse than menstrual cramps, or if the cramping is accompanied by bleeding, you need to be evaluated right away.
