Blood in stool: It is blood --- from either inside rectum or anal area -- or more remotely bladder or uterus. Do you have blood on toilet tissue? If not yet done, I believe you require rectal exam, proctoscopy or sigmoidoscopy, and GYN exam. Also 3 home stool samples for blood using heme occult cards are necessary.
