Over 4 plus months now.have been having a substance bright red appearing in my stools alot. lab results show i don't have gi bleed.what could this be?

Stool occult blood?: Occult blood test should be done. If negative, suggest food coloring products may cause this. Sounds simple but categorically rule out GI bleed, or look for a source like fissures, tears, hemorrhoids etc. A scope may be needed as the last step.
