May need antibiotic: Utis are quite common in females and often need antibiotic treatment. There are instances where mild infections do disappear on their own, but significant bacterial utis often require antibiotic. Otc med such as Azo can help reduce the discomfort/burning/urgency symptoms, but does not get rid of the infection itself. So, if you have much symptoms, consult doc. Good luck.

Antibiotics.: Plenty of fluids and cranberry juice/extract has a low likelihood of kcuring, but may keep symptoms at bay. See doc for antibiotics and / or evaluation.
