A member asked:

Can you burn to many calories?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, no, and maybe: The whole point of trying to lose weight is to burn too many calories. However, if one is chronically ill (such as with cancer or aids), his body can burn too many calories and he will lose weight and be too skinny (called "cachetic"). Also, if one is too thin already, and exercises excessively, he is burning too many calories.
