A member asked:

Do muscle twitches and jumps during the day have anything to do with seizures?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: Twitches and jumps denote rapid involuntary muscle movements, respectively small and large. Small groups of muscles may rarely twitch during seizures but most involuntary seizure-related movements are coarse, multijoint involving movements. Other illnesses also cause these movements. Even epileptics are not immune from twitches and jumps form other causes, including their own drugs.
