Usually none: Bow leggedness is usually asymptomatic. I cannot recall every having someone complain of any symptoms related to bowed legs.

Depends: If you were born with bow legs, at 38 u r most likely going to have no prob other than cosmetic. If developed over time and is due to angulation at the joint, and they are sore on the inner aspect it could be due to medial joint space wear (arthritis).
