Yes : There is a significant percentage of penicillin allergic patients who have a cross sensativity to cephalosporin antibiotics. In all likelihood you are allergic to Cephalexin as well as penicillin if you are experiencing swollen lips. Please contact your health care professional and you may need anti-histamine treatment. Stop the medication until prescriber is consulted.
