Depends: The majority of anticonvulsants have some fetal risk but may be continued if benefit outweighs that risk. A few either have no demonstrated fetal risk but have not been studied long enough or in enough numbers to declare them completely safe.I would discuss your particular meds with your OB & neurologist & see how to best move forward. Do not stop the meds without a plan to keep you safe.
