Not really: It may well feel like you're losing your mind to have 3 babies at the same time, but thankfully this is not an automatic outcome. Moms need help dealing with their babies' needs -- hopefully the dad is involved and extended family is available too. All moms are vulnerable to post-partum depression, esp. With prior depression; anxiety can exacerbate also. Psychiatrists can help if these happen.

Lack of rest.: Having to care for a baby can be stressful not to talk of three babies. In situations where the mother has no assistance in caring for her babies and therefore gets little or no rest, she may certainly become overwhelmed, anxious or depressed. Her pre-pregnancy coping skills also play a significant role.
