Leave it alone: Assuming she's asymptomatic. It is highly probable that this is a calcified granuloma, either histoplasmosis or less likely inactive tuberculosis. If the physician proposes to treat, get a second opinion. If not, give your aunt a big hug, it won't hurt hre. I am glad she has a family member who is so caring. Best wishes.

Lung specialist: She should check with a lung specialist to review all the images. Probably nothing to worry about but better to be sure.
