More specific?: You can find a lot of info about leukemia at www.Lls.Org. Basically it is a cancer of white blood cells- can be chronic or acute. Chronic leukemia usually is asymptomatic at presentation and diagnosis is made from abnormal blood work. Acute leukemia can be presented with symptoms such as fatigue, anemia, low platelet , easy bruising/bleeding, frequent infection, weight loss, bony pain, fever, etc.
