Past exposure: Herpes is tricky -it can live in the nerves for years, and only come out at times of stress. Not sure if you ever had a past outbreak? Herpes will come out in the same spot where it came out in the past. (Since it lives in the nerve roots -and just travels up to the surface when it feels like it). When the body is weak - moving house, lost job, other illness etc, herpes will surface. See ID doc.
