Get checked: Typically, back pain due to structural issue in the back gets worse with activity and certain positions & better with rest or change of position like a disc problem. This could be an inflammatory condition, infection, or tumor of the spine or referred pain due to a kidney issue, GI issue like an ulcer, a vascular problem like an aneurysm, or some other issue within the abdominal /pelvic region.

Lot of reasons: Time for a check up. In the next 5-10 years, all your friends are in need of a check up. Better sooner than later. Continue performing the maintenance on your body to keep up good health for the next 40 years. If u had a car that was made in 1973, would u think its time for an overhaul ?
