Can a colonoscopy cause an umbilical site hernia i was having severe llq pain and after colonoscopy i now have 2painful hernias tsh and umb rcrsrct?

No.: Colonoscopy will not cause hernias to develop. However, hernias can enlarge due to excessive straining from activities such as coughing, vomiting, weight-lifting, etc. Regardless, if you have two hernias and they are interfering with normal daily activities, you should be evaluated by a general surgeon. Good luck! (ps-what's "tsh and umb rcrsrct"?).

Probably not: It is very unlikely that colonoscopy "caused" a hernia. Did they find the reason for the llq pain? I don't understand what "tsh and umb rcrsrct" means.
