Probably not at all: Fibula is not a wt bearing bone and so strength is not a critical component, but the lower part (eye of ankle--outsdide) is important in ankle-joint stability. Simple fracture in upper part of fibula will not likely cause problem for you. But for now, just take it easy to allow complete healing--fracture any where is not a good thing. Be safe. Good luck.

Shouldn't: Once the fracture heals, you should have no significant residuals. Remember that bone is a living tissue that will continue to gain strength as you strain it. Same with muscles and tendons.

Fibula fracture: The fracture should take about 6 weeks to heal and you not have any weakness there.
