Normal: Scars can be more sensitive for a very long time. Scars are not actually normal skin, even when healed. But depending on how old the scar is, somethings can be done to manipulate how they ultimately heal. Everything from dilute steroid injections, creams, chemical peels, lasers and even starting all over with a new scar can be done. See an experienced plastic surgeon and be well, dr. Fred.

Early or keloid: Eatly scars are commonly hypersensitive as the nerve injury resolves and sensation returns. In rare occasions, however, this may be an early sign of keloids which may respond to pressure, massage, silicone sheeting, desensitizarion and lastly steroid. Injections. Discuss with your surfe.
