Yes: Hiv can be present without any overt signs and symptoms until the profound immune suppression creates opportunistic infections or tumors. If you think there is any chance that you may have been infected please get tested. The earlier the diagnosis is made and treatment begun, the better the outcome.

Yes: Hiv does not always cause the lymph nodes to swell. So one can have HIV without lymphadenopathy.
