I have had an electric shock type pain behind my left ear for a week! been to docs not infected, no build up of wax. doc didn't know what this was

Muscle or tendon : If the ear is normal and there is no evidence of a hearing loss, the most likely diagnosis is the tendon of the large neck muscle that attaches to the mastoid bone (sterno-cleido-mastoid muscle) is inflamed. Try heat and analgesics.
