AC separation: Type 1-3 ac separations are typically treated without surgery. A type 3 indicates you tore the capsule and cc ligaments. If you walk thru most football or hockey locker rooms alot of players have this. A type 5 indicates the clavicle has pierced thru the trapezial fascia. These are generally fixed but can carry a high failure rate of 20%. I would see a shoulder specialist to identify yours.
