A member asked:

Even tho you've had surgery for chiari 1 malformation decompression and it's been5 months. is there anything you can do to feel normal again? not so tired, irritable, head still hurting everyday headache just not yourself?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See your neurosugeon: Go back and see your neurosurgeon again. Make sure your cerebellar decompression is still open and not causing compression. If not, see a neurolgist who should be able to help with your headaches. Unfortunately, not all chiari malformations improve with surgery- good luck.
