Unlikely: Unless your inner ear was involved in the surgery or you were born with inner ear or ear bone malformations, the inner ear and ear bones were likely unaffected from surgery. A suboccipital decompression typically does not affect the inner ear or ear bones. I would consult your otologist for a more precise answer.
