Depends: It will depend on your general health, any chronic diseases, medications you are on, age, how much rest you can give the hip, the therapy you get or receive, and your state of general nutrition. Most thing like this, if treateed properly wlll heal in 4-6 weeks. It could be shorter or could be longer. See a reputable orthopedist, sports medicine doctor or physiatrist (rehab doctor) and get evalu.

6-8 weeks: Avulsions injuries are both fractures or severe ligament injuries. Fracture take 6-8 weeks to heal and severe ligament injures can take 2-3 months. After healing , continued rehablitation for an additional period of time may be ncessary to optimize outcome.

Varies: Depends on the size of the avulsion fracture, the degree of strain, and the age/health of the patient. In general, these heal in the 6 to 8 week time frame with therapy and appropriate activity modification.
