Plaque: Saturated fat can certainly contribute. Limit animal based protein & increase plant based diet. Also reading nutritional labels is extremely useful. Join us in the food revolution as diet can help prevent many of our most serious chronic conditions! good luck.

Both.: Generally speeking saturated fat and cholesterol levels in one's diet corrolate very well with each other, or (again generally speaking) when one goes up they both go up. From that stanpoint, minimizing either should result in a favorable effect.
