Should be less: In us(oops, ontario, ca!) we get results back in three days, on average. There may have been issues in sorting and distributing the specimen to centralized labs that has caused the delay. Lab tests are done in batches, so blood may sit for a while waiting for the batch to be completed before any testing is done on the entire batch. Culture specimens may take thre to five days for a result.

Std test: Normally the result should have been back already, I do not know how fast result turn out is in canada, but here in the states the turn out is very quick, by any event you should contact your doctor if you don't here from him/ her.
