I have been diagnosed with bells but didn't fill the valtrex (valacyclovir) prescription due to cost is this going to hinder my recovery in any way?

Maybe not: If your bells' palsy is caused by the reactivation of chicken-pox virus(shingle) or herpes simplex (unusual), Valtrex (valacyclovir) may help but probably won't hinder healing if not taken. Acyclovir is an alternative which is very cheap--less than 20 bucks for 10 days. May need to check for lyme disease too. Please consult doc for re-eval and possible change of med. Good luck.
